Americas
Brazil

Apple, Google, Government of Canada, Bank of Canada and Microsoft are the top five employers for business students. For Engineering and IT students, they are Microsoft, Google, Apple, Sony and IBM. The news about the Canadian talent market was featured in The Financial Post and other regional media.

USA - Undergrad
Google, Apple, Walt Disney Company, NASA, Boeing, and Lockheed Martin to name a few are on American students' wish-list of companies to work for. Some of the top stories came from Bloomberg BusinessWeek and Forbes.

USA - MBAs
On June 4th, CNNMoney published exclusively the complete lineup of the top 100 ideal MBA employers, featuring also company profiles of the top 15. The top three winners for MBA students are: Google, McKinsey & Company and Apple.

Europe
Denmark
Today, May 25th, the ideal employers of Denmark have been announced: A.P. Møller – Mærsk, Carlsberg, Novo Nordisk , Lego and McKinsey & Company are the favorites among other leading companies.

Finland
On May 9th, UNIVERSUM Finland released the results of its student research. The top three in business are: Finnair, Kone and Fazer. The top three in Engineering were: VTT, ABB, Suomen ympäristökeskus (SYKE). The results were published in Kauppalehti, Helsingin Sanomat, YLE news among others.

Germany
On April 30th, UNIVERSUM Germany released the results of its student research. The top three in business are: Audi, BMW and Porsche. The top three in Engineering are: Audi, BMW Group and Siemens. The results were also published in Wirtschafts Woche.

Netherlands
Netherlands Apple, Heineken and Google are the top 3 favorites for Dutch students. On June 7th, the news was covered by media outlets such as Metro, Nu.nl and Vknanen.nl.

Norway
On May 10th, Universum Norway released the results of its student research. Statoil, DnB Nor, McKinsey & Company, Aker Solutions, SWECO and more...are the dream employers of Norway. The news made front cover of Dagens Naeringsliv and the daily newspaper featured a two-page story on where students would like to work.

Poland
Last week, on May 16, Universum Poland held the Universum awards and released the ideal employer rankings. Ernst & Young, Google, TVN S.A., PwC and Polskie Linie Lotnicze LOT were the favorites for business students.

Russia
On May 23rd, Russia discovered that Gazprom, Sberbank Rossii, Lukoil, BMW and Unilever were the dream employers for business students. For engineers, Rosneft Oil Company and Transneft made the top five.

Spain
Apple comes first, followed by INDITEX, in the business ranking. Tight rivalry between Apple and Google, the former claims the seat among engineers. Sweden
For the 10th year in a row, IKEA is the first choice employer for Swedish business students. For the first time ever, IKEA also came in second place among civil engineers. Other runners-up for the top spots are Google and H&M. On March 14th, the results received broad media attention from papers such as SVD, Metro, DN, TT, and others.

Switzerland
Nestlé, Google and Credit Suisse are the top three choices for Swiss business students. For future engineers, ABB, Siemens & CERN come in the first three places. Novartis, Roche and Nestle are the best for students studying natural sciences. The news was released on June 14th in Bilanz, Tagesanzeiger, Le Temps and other prominent media.

UK
UK students like to bite on their Apple, at least business and engineering students do. BBC is top-of-mind among humanities. Law students choose Allen & Overy and students in the Natural Sciences pick their NHS. The rankings are based on more than 15,000 students and 50,600 in-depth employer evaluations. Asia-Pacific
China
From having surveyed over 40,000 students in China, the top 3 employers that received most ideal employer nominations were: Bank of China, Procter & Gamble and Citi. The news was published in Globe magazine.

India
The Times of India published on June 2nd “Young jobseekers prefer PSUs, domestic companies”, reporting that “Indian students are veering towards public sector jobs and domestic firms to find a cushion against an uncertain economy, which clocked its lowest quarterly growth rate in nine years at 5.3%.” The companies that achieved the top three positions are Reserve Bank of India, State Bank of India and Google.

Japan
On 7th August 2012, Universum released the results of its student research in Japan. Based on the nominations of 2,261 Japanese students, Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi / UFJ Bank and Panasonic Corporation came out no. 1 for business and engineering students respectively. Regional rankings
Asia Top 50
The first annual Universum Awards Asia was held in July. Google, well recognized for its open culture and support of creativity & innovation, was honored the title "Asia’s Ideal Employer". More than 37,800 business and engineering undergraduate students across the region participated in an online survey, conducted between November 2011 and May 2012, and were asked to select their favorite employers. The Awards also saw 49 international and Asian brands, including Sony and Huawei, being applauded for their employer branding efforts. Nordic
On June 14th, Universum released the most attractive employers in the Nordic region. The results are based on the Universum Student Survey 2012 in which over 22,000 students at top academic institutions in Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland chose their ideal employers. Top stories, among others, came from DI, SVD and Berlingske.
