US Employer Branding Conference coming up soon

(February 28, 2012 -- New York, NY) This year, the Universum Employer Branding Conference and Universum Awards Ceremony will take place on May 10th at The New York Times Building in New York City. A post-conference seminar, presented by Recruiting Trends, will follow the next morning, May 11th.

The Employer Branding Conference is an annual event where extraordinary employer and employee brand experts, HR and career professionals, and others come together for a day of learning, peer exchange, and inspirational seminars.

The Annual Universum Awards Ceremony and Dinner will take place the evening of the Employer Branding Conference, from 6:00PM - 10:30PM. This will be the 4th Annual Universum Awards and will include a night of networking, dinner, and recognition of the most powerful and attractive employer brands of 2012. Award winners are determined by more than 60,000 undergraduate students who answer the questions, “Who is your future ideal employer?” and “Why?”

New this year is a post-conference workshop, “Leveraging Social Media for Talent Engagement While Promoting Your Employment Brand,” which takes place May 11th from 8:00AM - 12:00PM. Hosted by Recruiting Trends, the workshop features social media employment brand experts Carmen Hudson, engagement manager, sourcing & social media strategy at Recruiting Toolbox, and Jennifer McClure, president of Unbridled Talent, who will provide an in-depth look at some of today’s best sourcing and recruiting techniques, and share the latest techniques and tools for leveraging employer brand.
