Roles at Universum

Media
A career within the Media department is fast moving and exciting. The Media staff include project managers of varying levels organising projects in Sweden, Europe, US and the Nordic region. Additionally there are editors, art directors and photographers who work together to produce the final product, be it a magazine, published guide or Web site.

 

MSR 
MSR: Marketing, Support and Relations, is an expression created by Universum to describe the role of this challenging and fast paced department. The team include junior and senior project managers, as well as country and regional managers, who work together to increase the visibility of the Universum brand internationally. They also support our sales team to reach their goals, and foster and maintain relationships with universities and academic institutions worldwide.

 

Being part of the Universum Research team means being constantly challenged. In order to remain industry leaders, we must always improve and develop our research and the products we deliver to our clients. The Research team has members from all over the world who work as analysts, report managers, quality managers and product developers. The tasks are both analytical and market-orientated, and require close interaction with MSR and Media.

 

Working as a consultant or project manager at Universum involves working with some of the most well-known and respected companies in the world to develop their employer branding strategies. As an expert in the field of employer branding you will be involved with projects ranging from national brand perception analysis to global EVP (Employer Value Proposition). Since most of our clients and projects are international, we have consultants in place on different continents. As a project manager you will participate in events all over the world.

Finance
When working as part of the Finance team, your main task is to support the rest of the company. Our main aim is to ensure everything runs as smoothly as possible. Another important responsibility of the Finance team is to handle fiscal and legal tasks for Universum. The Finance department has a CFO, group accountant, personal assistant and accountants. As a member of the Finance team you must be adept at juggling several things at once.
